MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Foundation Alumni & Friends Lake Havasu City Chapter is inviting community members, alumni and supporters to be part of the second edition Community Cookbook by submitting their favorite recipes.

From family favorites and holiday traditions to crowd-pleasing comfort foods and creative new dishes, the cookbook will showcase the flavors and stories that make Mohave County unique. Each recipe contributes to a collection that celebrates community, connection and the joy of sharing a good meal.

Proceeds from the cookbook will support the Mohave College Foundation and its mission to strengthen student success through scholarships, programs and community partnerships.

Community members are encouraged to submit up to three recipes. Submissions are open through September 30, and can be submitted online.

As part of the campaign, participants who submit recipes will be entered into monthly prize drawings for a chance to win a free cookbook. Drawings will be held at the end of August, September and October.

“This cookbook is a fun and meaningful way to bring our community together while supporting Mohave College students,” said representatives from the Alumni & Friends Lake Havasu City Chapter. “We are excited to see the variety of recipes our community has to share.”

The cookbook is expected to be available in December 2026, just in time for the holiday season.

Community members, alumni and local supporters are encouraged to participate, and share their favorite recipes and be part of a project that celebrates community while giving back.
